Smithworks Fine Jewelry has a state-of-the-art laser-welding machine on site. The machine uses the same precise technology that is used for laser eye surgery. It takes a highly trained master jeweler to use such a machine.
With its highly precise directed light path, it can work on rings, which you previously had to remove stones in order to repair.
Eyeglasses may also be repaired without having to remove the lenses. It uses the metal to weld a joint as opposed to solder, which leaves a joint that could break.
